Description

1931 Mirror by Secolo

The mirror 1931 signed Secolo is a floor mirror with a height of 158 cm. It includes a mirror and a marble sphere. The shapes of the mirror are curved and remind the aesthetics of the surrealist movement of the 30s. Indeed, 1931 refers to the year when the Spanish painter Salvador Dali finished the great masterpiece “The Persistence of Memory”. This mirror, which appears to be amorphous and supported by a simple marble sphere, is in reality supported by a solid wooden structure that stands at the back of the mirror.

The marble sphere is available in seven different marbles such as Travertino, Dark Emperador and Carrara CD. The wooden structure is available in dark matte anthracite and dark glossy anthracite.
