Hippo Chair by Norr11

The Hippo Chair is a creation by Norr11.
Conceived by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, ‘Hippo’ is a Scandinavian seating collection inspired by the voluminous anatomy of the hippopotamus. This design chair features a wooden back and base that contrasts with the soft shapes of the seat. The ‘Hippo’ collection also includes contemporary chairs with a Scandinavian style.

Four categories of fabrics are available for the entire ‘Hippo’ collection.
Wooden structure available in four colors: light oak, light smoked oak, dark smoked oak or black oak.

Norr11 is a danish design studio founded in 2011, driven by the ambition to bring an innovative and modern perspective to interiors around the world. With their collection of furniture and lighting, Norr11 imagines its creations around sustainable and natural materials designed to withstand the test of time. Subtle fusion between the Danish heritage of the second half of the 20th century and a certain Asian aesthetic (from the Chinese Ming dynasty to the crude expressions of South Asia).
