Contemporary Terrazzo Furniture

Terrazzo (also called Granito) is a material made of stones and marbles chips incorporated into cement or concrete. It was originally used for floors material. Unique patterns and colors that can be created by terrazzo is fascinating today designers who decided to let this material in to build pieces of furniture. The terrazzo lamps we present on Savannah Bay Gallery are conceived by Bentu Design which is a Cantonese design studio specialized in working with concrete. Since many years Bentu Design is well known for having signed lightings and furniture collections only made with concrete. Terrazzo is now a new playground!
