Poiat

Poiat is a design studio located in Helsinki, it was established in 2010 by Timo Mikkonen and Antti Rouhunkoski. Two talented friends with a passion for architecture and interior design. The creations of Poiat follow the sobriety guidelines of Finnish design and also recall the traditional style of Italian design. Scandinavian furniture that emphasizes the beauty of wood. The furniture is made mainly of oak and produced exclusively in Finland.

Lavitta was the first collection, it was launched in 2014. This collection features wooden chairs, minimalist stools and contemporary tables. Each collection is inspired by different subjects, for example Poeme is a collection of oak shelves inspired by Japanese architecture and old tools used in Finland.
