Pani Jurek
Polish artist and designer Magda Jurek has founded the brand and design studio Pani Jurek. Her flagship collection of lightings, tables and mirrors called TRN is a beautiful tribute to the work of Polish painter Jan Tarasin. Panier Jurek has been highly inspired by the signs calligraphy alike that the artist repeats in all of his paintings as a pattern. Pani Jurek succeed to translate this artistic language into design. Her lamps, tables and mirrors are the tridimensional embodiment of the Jan Tarasin’s signs.
TRN collection has 5 models of side tables, 4 types of mirrors (3 sizes and one triple) and ceramic lighting fixtures, whose single elements can be arranged into the compositions. The hand crafted process of glazing ceramics and furniture making gives the collection a truly unique character. Each piece is one of a kind. The furniture is made in cooperation with Square Drip, preservative and bespoke furniture studio. Hand crafted in solid ash wood, with traditional cabinet making techniques, the furniture is wood stained and covered with natural wax. Ceramic lighting fixtures are finished with brass elements. The collection is made for residential and commercial spaces. Objects can be arrange together like blocks of a puzzle, but, due to their sculptured look, they also suit perfectly as single accent pieces in a private apartment.
