The Elé chair is a wooden chair with armrests, and is part of the first complete furniture collection designed by Ann Demeulemeester and her partner Patrick Robyn. Their desire was to create furniture that reflected their personalities. These chairs embody timelessness and durability, and fit perfectly into contemporary interiors.

All the furniture is made of solid wood and protected by water-based lacquers or stains.

The wood may show natural variations and evolve over time, reinforcing the unique character of each piece.

About Ann Demeulemeester

Ann Demeulemeester is a Belgian fashion designer with her own eponymous brand. Since 2019, she has been collaborating with Belgian design studio Serax to create furniture that reflects her style. The designer is known for her intelligent approach to design: she doesn’t follow trends, but instead explores contrasts. The result is a parallel between strength and fragility, the poetic and the radical, and even preciousness and functionality.
