“Apodosis”, candleholder design, is a creation by French design studio Hormé.

Inspired by Greek mythology, its richness and poetry, Hormé is committed to designing a collection of luxurious furniture with elegance as the key word. Pure shapes, precious materials: wood – ebony, walnut or sycamore – marble, brass and leather. Each creation demonstrates a style which is more delicate than fancy.

Brushed and burnt oak disc, matt varnish. Block of black and polish Marquina marble. Slightly brushed brass.

Hormé surrounds itself with exceptional artisans to create and produce the collections: Meilleures Ouvriers de France (Best Craftsmen in France), Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Companies), etc. Each piece of furniture and each object is unique and requires about 4 to 6 weeks to create.
