The Medea swivel armchair is designed by Italian studio Amura Lab.
This swivel armchair represents design and comfort. The Medea seating collection is inspired by Medea, one of the most well-known and controversial figures in Greek mythology. Her name in Greek means “wisdom, cunning”, and tradition describes her as a witch with divine powers. Thus the idea of giving this name to the Medea seating collection. The Medea armchair is structured by soft, sculptural shapes that are not purely aesthetic, but the result of research into the interaction between the user and the chair itself. Thanks to its rounded lines, Medea’s function is to envelop and ensure comfort, without forgoing its obvious aesthetic value.
