Takayama Floor Lamp by Man of Parts
The Takayama floor lamp, designed by Yabu Pushelberg for the Man of Parts design studio, features a painted metal frame, woven cord and marble base. The unique shape of this luminaire is inspired by cormorants. These seabirds are notably used in Takayama, a mountain town in Japan, for Ukai fishing.
Man of Parts is a Canadian-based design studio offering contemporary furniture and lighting. Born from the vision of German collector and travel enthusiast Stephan Weishaupt, this truly modern studio embodies a post-national perspective. Man of Parts’ creations are made in Europe and inspired by the world. Their collections are thought through to the smallest detail, whether it’s an Italian fabric armchair or a marble table. Beyond the conception of quality designer furniture, Man of Parts conveys a borderless lifestyle of undeniable elegance. The contrasting elements and clean, organic lines of Man of Parts pieces are sure to add a subtle touch to any interior.
