TRN Triple Mirror (black) by Pani Jurek

Polish artist and designer, Magda Jurek, aka Pani Jurek, has signed this collection of wall mirrors and full length mirrors named ‘TRN’. This collection of mirrors follows up the collection of pendant lamps named ‘TRN’ as well. These mirrors and lighting are a tribute to the work of Jan Tarasin. The work of this Polish painter is characterized by the use of signs calligraphy alike which are repeated in each painting. These abstract patterns (sometimes with colors) create a singular alphabet which became the language of the artist.  This language truly inspired Pani Jurek who succeed to translate it into design. Her lamps, tables and mirrors are the tridimensional embodiment of the Jan Tarasin’s signs.

There are three sizes available for the TRN mirrors: 100cm, 110cm or 120cm. There is also one specific model with a tripled frame.

Pani Jurek’s pieces mix the characteristics of fine art, craft and design. The series of handcrafted and decorative art objects in the collection is a tribute to the designer’s imagination. Magda Jurek, a painting graduate, founded the brand in 2010 and creates the pieces spontaneously. Her designs, which include wooden mirrors and ceramic fixtures, serve as a canvas to build compositions. Using functional forms as a means of expression, Pani Jurek’s objects incorporate colors, stains, textures and shapes to form captivating abstract compositions.
