Denis Milovanov

Born in 1975 in Moscow, Russian artist Denis Milovanov is specialized in wood working. He conceived and manufactures pieces of furniture made of solid oak. Denis Milovanov sculpts each piece with chainsaw or chisel creating beautiful patterns and textures. The tables, benches, consoles are sculpted directly from the raw tree trunk or wood block. Denis Milovanov creates massive tables and massive benches by sculpting the wood.

Denis Milovanov choose carefully each wood block or street trunk that will be use for his furniture or decorative object. Linseed oil is used as a traditional technics to nourish and protect the wood. Denis Milovanov is a well known artist with international reputation. He works with great interior designers and architects and participates to international design fairs.
