Dining Table P.O.V. 464 by TON
‘POV’ collection present a series of dining tables available with different sizes, shapes and wood types. These wooden tables are manufactured by TON and designed by German design studio KaschKasch. The ‘P.OV. tables speak about ”point of view” of course! The center base leaves the symmetry, plays with the shape and changes its form by moving the angle of view. The POV tables have a very organic and minimalist look which gives a very elegant design.
While it may look discreet, P.O.V. tables can highlight a room – it all depends on your point of view. POV tables come in one heights, three base types and six tabletop shapes. The modular system boasts dozens of options, making it suitable for almost any interior – an office, dining hall, cafe or restaurant. The collection is available in three types of wood – beech, oak and American walnut – and finished in various colours.
TON is one of the most ancient manufacture in Czech Republic which is specialized in wood bending. Austrian founder of this manufacture Michael Thonet, has designed and conceived one of the most iconic chair: Chair n°14. Six generations have worked at TON manufacture since 1861. Today the company is working with contemporary designers such as Kashkash design studio (by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider) to conceive new items and redesign iconic ones.
