CarmWorks furniture is characterized by the quality of its materials and respect for the environment.

CarmWorks, founded by Colombian artist Camilo Andres Rodriguez Marquez, is a furniture design studio specializing in the creation of unique pieces using burnt wood. Based in Bogota, Colombia, CarmWorks stands out for its artisanal approach and raw aesthetic. Primarily using oak and cedar, the studio offers a diverse range of furniture, from massive dining tables to minimalist consoles to rounded stools.

The key element of CarmWorks’ artistic approach is the use of burnt wood, a technique inspired by Japanese Yakisugi. This traditional method involves charring the wood to protect it from deterioration while imparting a unique aesthetic. Each piece is carefully treated with natural oils and a combination of lacquer and matte enamel, ensuring durable protection against the elements and allowing for outdoor use.
