The Manhattan coffee table was designed by Roderick Vos for Linteloo.

The Manhattan coffee table reinterprets the traditional codes of the coffee table through an architectural composition that plays with volumes and space. Inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian and the Russian Constructivist movement, it stands out for its graphic assembly of wooden blocks, giving it a strong presence in the space.

Both a coffee table and a sculptural piece, Manhattan plays with proportions and perspectives. Its geometric design creates various built-in storage spaces, allowing it to hold books, decorative objects, or everyday accessories while maintaining a sleek silhouette.

With its structured design and understated functionality, the Manhattan table naturally finds its place in a contemporary living room, where it becomes a true focal point.

The Manhattan coffee table is crafted from oak, a material chosen for its durability and natural character. Each piece highlights the wood’s unique characteristics, whether it be variations in color, knots, or natural cracks that develop as the tree grows.

These details contribute to each table’s individual character and enhance the material’s authenticity. The piece’s monolithic structure also highlights the quality of the woodworking and the attention to detail in the finishes.

Thanks to its timeless aesthetic and the richness of its material, the Manhattan fits equally well in minimalist interiors as it does in warmer, more textured spaces.

Since its founding in 1994 by Jan te Lintelo, who was later joined by Lars Nikolajsen, Linteloo has developed a vision for furniture based on comfort, quality, and relaxed luxury. The Dutch brand collaborates with internationally renowned designers to create timeless collections where contemporary design meets exceptional craftsmanship.

A 1990 graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, Dutch designer Roderick Vos has spent more than thirty years developing a design approach guided by the pursuit of sustainable, functional, and aesthetic forms.

With the Manhattan coffee table, Roderick Vos combines artistic inspiration, functionality, and craftsmanship to create a piece that is both practical and expressive, designed to stand the test of time.
