The Lowtide collection was designed by the Roderick Vos studio for Linteloo.

Designed by Roderick Vos for Linteloo, the Lowtide coffee table draws its inspiration from coastal landscapes shaped by the wind and the tides. During a walk along the coast, the designer observed the ephemeral patterns left in the sand at low tide and translated them into a piece of furniture that is both simple and expressive.

Its tabletop features a wavy pattern that evokes the natural traces left by water on the shoreline. This texture adds depth and dimension to the surface while enhancing the table’s sculptural character. Viewed from both near and far, Lowtide captures light differently throughout the day, revealing the full richness of its design.

Both understated and distinctive, it naturally finds its place in a contemporary living room, where it brings a warm presence and a tactile dimension to the space.

Materials and Finished

The Lowtide coffee table is crafted from solid oak. Its tabletop is machined using computer numerical control milling technology, which allows for the precise reproduction of the organic contours that characterize its design.

This manufacturing technique produces a result that retains the appearance and feel of handcrafted work. The wood’s natural variations, grain, and texture contribute to the unique identity of each piece.
